Ron Paul’s Campaign Manager Died of Pneumonia, Penniless and Uninsured

Ron Paul’s Campaign Manager Died of Pneumonia, Penniless and Uninsured.

So Wolf’s audience seems to think that uninsured people should be allowed to die and not get medical treatment.  And Paul thinks that churches who are full of the same selfish assholes as the audience should be paying to help the poor get healthcare.  Most churches can barely pay their bills so how is that going to work asshole?

This blog

by on Sep.10, 2011, under General, Politics, Science

Just in case you haven’t noticed, this blog is full of my opinions based on articles I have read.  I do not have time to get source documents and bother politicians.  If I make a post based on false published information, I’m sorry.  If I catch it, I’ll fix it.  Politically I’m very independent but I despise the GOP as it is nowadays.  If you deny science, evolution, or working together, they will get my wrath.

I am a skeptic.  And if you don’t know what that is, I can tell you what it is not.  It is not conspiracy theorists, not homeopathy, and not chiropractic.  Skeptics utilize the best available science to draw a conclusion about a topic.  Like science, the conclusion may change with the data, so a skeptic will usually adjust opinions as needed.  This is different from a cynic; they just poo-poo on everything or a conspiracy theory nutter who suffers from cognitive dissonance.

Perry and evolution

by on Sep.10, 2011, under Politics, Science

Perry is anti-evolution in case you didn’t know and has to coach people to ask questions the way he wants them asked.  Not only isn’t he smart enough to understand the definition of theory, but he doesn’t even know what evolution IS.

Perry is scarier than Bush and Cheney combined

by on Sep.10, 2011, under General, Politics

After reading an article at the Texas Observer I’ve decided to focus a lot of posts on the frontrunner of the psycho party, Perry. You may be a Republican, and love Bush, but Perry should scare the shit out of you.  His religious beliefs are off the scale crazy if this article is correct.

Bachman and the bible

by on Jul.01, 2011, under Politics

So Bachman only believes in the bible and that it’s supposed to be the guiding principles in our (non)Christian country. Ok, so we need to wipe all the laws off the books. Then we need to create laws that only reinforce the ten commandments. Then we bring back stoning and revoke women’s rights. It means instant justice, Palin would be stoned for inciting someone to kill (Loughner). No appeals, they would both be stoned. Pedophilia is allowed, as is rape. And the grand consequence, Christian religions are banned as promoting false idols. Since all those cults all have different beliefs on “god’s” word, they are all wrong except one, but you can’t determine which it is. So we have civil war that causes the “thou shall not kill” to be violated or ban Christianity.

Palin’s ride to warn the British

by on Jul.01, 2011, under Politics

So it’s old news but I still get a kick out of reading about this story. Palin’s take on Paul Revere’s ride is hilarious. Her apologist’s later clarifications are just as funny (everyone was British since there wasn’t an America yet). She screwed it up, like everything else, it’s that simple.

You think her moron speech writers would do some research. Oh wait, Paul Revere wasn’t in the Bible, so it didn’t happen so we’ll just make shit up.

What pisses me off the most it that her moron followers tried to edit Wikipedia and got busted. I’ve been a Wiki editor a long time and I’ve only made one footnote correction in many years.

Bachman is running for POTUS

by on Jun.25, 2011, under Politics

I foresee a year of hilarity with Bachman running for POTUS. Now if we can only sterilize anyone that votes for her, the general IQ of the country should rise.

Skepticamp Louisville 2011

by on Jun.25, 2011, under Politics, Science

At the Skepticamp Louisville 2011 and having guest speakers talk about their favorite topics. If you aren’t part of your local skeptics group, go to meetup or do a search on Facebook, they are around. I even started a group on PhoenixConnect on the University of Phoenix website.

We are covering all topics from the scientifically blind anti-vaxxers to the bologna of homeopathy. I’ll try to link videos when I can.

2011 already going to Hell

by on Mar.12, 2011, under Domestic Security, Politics

I have been refraining from posting because I get really pissed off when someone takes my posts too seriously and goes off on an angry bitchfest with no basis in fact.  If you have a different opinion, fine, but keep it on the up and up.  Post links to legitimate sites, not www.ilovebush.com or something like that.  You have to be able to back up your talk with proof.

This is why I didn’t post about the murders in Tucson immediately after the event.  I knew a right wing nutjob was the offender.  I have very little doubt about that.  But other right wing nuts shouldn’t be offended by this assertion.  This kid has serious mental illness.  So many people dead and injured and we will probably never know the truth behind his motivations.  The prosecutor will guess and lie, the defense will just plain lie, and the truth will be locked in Loughner’s head.
